Tigers Take Second Game Of Doubleheader, 6-5

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Ryan Raburn hit a go-ahead three-run double in the eighth inning to give the Tigers a 6-5 comeback victory over the Blue Jays to wrap up a day-night doubleheader and a four-game series.

As a result of Friday's game being postponed due to rain, the teams had to play two on Sunday, and the Jays won the day game, 5-3, on Lyle Overbay's two- run homer in the ninth inning.

Toronto appeared on its way to a third straight win in the nightcap, leading 4-2 prior to Detroit plating four in the game-altering frame.

Miguel Cabrera and Johnny Damon each had two hits and an RBI for the Tigers, who earned a split in the series with just their third win in 12 games.

DeWayne Wise had three hits and two RBI, including a solo homer off Jose Valverde in the ninth that pulled Toronto within one.

Valverde, however, retired pinch-hitter Vernon Wells and struck out Fred Lewis and Yunel Escobar in succession to notch his 21st save of the season.
