Lions Coach Jim Schwartz Signs Up For Twitter

Although Lions head coach Jim Schwartz is busy preparing for training camp, which begins officially when players report to Allen Park on Friday, he took some time out of his day on Monday to sign up for Twitter. it's very common for athletes and other people involved in sports (Roger Goodell is on there, for example) to be on Twitter, but there aren't many NFL head coaches.

So far, Schwartz has made five tweets, three of which talk about music. That's no surprise considering Schwartz is such a big fan of music, so I'd bet on a lot of his tweets to revolve around that subject. He did post a couple football-related tweets, though.

It will be interesting to see what he posts during training camp when he gets the time to. I doubt we will get to read anything too revealing or in-depth, but I'm sure we'll get the occasional "great practice today" tweet. That just seems like something a head coach would say on Twitter.
