It has been a good night so far for new Tiger Jhonny Peralta:

First at-bat with the team: home run over the Green Monster
Second at bat: walk
Third at-bat: two-run homer over the Green Monster

Thanks to Peralta's three RBI, the Tigers now lead the Red Sox by a score of 4-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth.
