↵↵↵Former major league baseball player Dmitri Young was arrested by McLean County Sheriff's Department police early Monday on preliminary charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Young, who was released by the Tigers in 2006 and retired from baseball earlier this year, is currently the Oakland County Cruisers' bench coach, according to Pantagraph.com, which first reported his arrest. According to the website of the Crusiers, which are a Frontier League team, Young is serving as VP & Sr. Advisor of Baseball Ops for the team.
