Brennan Boesch has set the baseball world on fire ever since joining the Tigers earlier this season. Proof of that came in the fact that he won the AL Rookie of the Month Award in May, which was his first full month with the Tigers. Well, his second full month with the Tigers wasn't much different, as he once again took home the Rookie of the Month honors.
↵↵↵Detroit Tigers outfielder Brennan Boesch has been voted the June recipient of the Gillette presents American League Rookie of the Month Award. Boesch joins Jason Heyward of the Braves as the only rookies in 2010 to win the award in consecutive months. Prior to this season, it was last accomplished by Milwaukee's Ryan Braun in 2007 (June, July).

Austin Jackson took home the award in April, so it has been given to a Tigers player every single month of the season. A big part of the Tigers' success this season can be attributed to the play of their younger players, so it's good to see they're getting recognized on a national basis.
