Michigan Men's Gymnastics Team To Visit White House Next Month

The Michigan men's gymnastics team, which won the 2010 NCAA national championship, will get to meet President Obama and visit the White House on Sept. 13. Michigan is just one of the teams visiting the White House that day, as there is going to be a reception for teams that won a national championship this past academic year.

All of the teams will be honored with a reception at the White House. A partial list of the invited teams given in the press release named teams from three other Big Ten schools: University of Iowa wrestling, Purdue University's women's golf and University of Minnesota women's ice hockey.

The men's gymnastics team's national championship was Michigan's first since the softball team won it all back in 2005.
