Michigan Basketball Has Arrived In Europe

Michigan's basketball team is spending the next week in Europe for a vacation that includes four exhibition games. The team left for Amsterdam yesterday and arrived early this morning (our morning, that is). They will now head to Belgium and start preparing for their first game, which will be held on Sunday.

Below is a full look at the team's upcoming schedule.

  • ↵

Although this trip will include some sightseeing and fun things like that, it will also be a growing experience for many of the players on the team. With not a lot of experience returning to the roster this year, the younger players could use some playing time in real games to get ready for the 2010-11 season, and this trip will definitely provide plenty of opportunities for that.
