Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga is about to get a lot more press than he already has.
↵Galarraga is currently working with author Daniel Paisner on a book about the infamous game against the Cleveland Indians that garned him and umpire Jim Joyce national attention. Galarraga even threw out a possible name for the book before his first start against the Indians since the game last week.
↵↵↵"We have not decided on a name for it yet," Galarraga said. "It might be, 'Nobody's Perfect.' I like that."
↵
Galarraga proceeded to have his best start since the Joyce fiasco. He pitched another perfect game through the first 14 batters until Jason Nix doubled for the Tribe. Galarraga pitched seven shutout innings and gave up just three hits in a 6-0 win, the first of a series sweep for the Tigers.
↵There must be something in the Lake Erie water that makes the Indians not able to hit Galarraga.
↵The book is expected to be out next year.
