Wings GM Ken Holland Hits 3rd Hole-In-One

Red Wings General Manager Ken Holland is known for his proficiency at putting together champions, but he's also got a knack at hitting the links. Holland nailed his third career hole-in-one last week during a trip to Oregon with some friends.

"I had one when I was playing in Binghamton, N.Y., in the American League," Holland said of the American Hockey League. "And I had one when I was a scout for the Wings in Seattle."

Holland aced the 150-yard 11th hole at Pacific Dunes with a five iron, part of the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Ore.

"I actually pulled it and I thought it was going to hit into the bunker and I said a little swear word," Holland said. "It was a bit of a mishit, but it turned out OK.
