Brandon Graham On Denard Robinson: 'One Cut And He's Gone'

The Philadelphia Eagles are coming to town for the Detroit Lions' home opener at Ford Field this Sunday. One of the bonus stories in the week leading up to the game is the return of Brandon Graham, the former Michigan defensive end who was the Eagles' first-round pick this spring.

With a player who was on last year's 5-7 Michigan team available to the Detroit media, questions about this season's Wolverines were bound to come up. And Graham had plenty to say, especially about quarterback Denard Robinson.

"Last year he was trying to do too many juke moves. Now I see him just making one cut and he’s gone.

“That was the biggest thing that we had to get him to do, to know his own speed. And to see him out there really killing it right now, I’m very happy for him because I know he worked hard.”

Graham went on to say that Robinson might even be faster than current Eagles teammate Michael Vick, though he acknowledges that the difference in age between the two is likely a factor.
