More details about Bobby Seay’s shoulder surgery were revealed after Wednesday night’s 2-1 loss to Minnesota. According to MLive.com’s Steve Kornacki, Seay will undergo a less invasive arthroscopic procedure to repair his torn labrum, which is less career-threatening than originally feared.
“Dr. (James) Andrews thought it was rotator cuff pain,” Seay said, referring to the noted orthopedic surgeon. "It has a lot of arthritis in it. But as far as repairing the rotator cuff, that does not need to be addressed.
The surgery will be performed Sept. 15 in Delaware by orthopedic surgeon Craig Morgan.
