Glenn Robinson III Commits To Michigan

The Michigan basketball team is assembling a team of NBA sons. Already Jordan Dumars, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jon Horford are on the roster, and last week Michigan got a commitment from Glenn Robinson III.

Robinson III is a class of 2012 forward from Indiana who has three stars on both Rivals and Scout. As the name suggests, he is the son of Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson, who played in the NBA from 1994-2005. Robinson III had offers from Colorado, Indiana State, IUPUI, Missouri State and Valparaiso, in addition to Michigan.

Robinson III joins the aforementioned trio of NBA sons already on the roster. Dumars, of course, is the son of Joe Dumars; Tim Hardaway Jr. is Tim Hardaway Sr.'s son; and Jon Horford is the son of Tito Horford and the brother of Al Horford. It's obvious that John Beilein likes players who come from NBA families, and with the way the roster is shaping up, Michigan will be able to field a lineup almost entirely made up of NBA sons come 2012.
