Jim Schwartz announced today that Shaun Hill will make his third straight start at quarterback for the Lions. Although Matthew Stafford said a couple days ago that he would likely start throwing passes this week, Schwartz made it clear that the former No. 1 overall pick is not healthy enough to play just yet, which is why Hill will start against Green Bay on Sunday.
In the three games he has appeared in so far this season, Hill has completed 63 of 107 passes for 660 yards. He has thrown three touchdowns and five interceptions for the Lions, which lost all three games.
Last season, Hill did not see any action in the 49ers' game against the Packers.
