The list of players released by the Detroit Lions before Saturday’s 6 p.m. deadline continues to grow. Linebacker Vinny Ciurciu is the sixth player whose release has been announced since this morning.
Ciurciu is in his seventh season. He saw action in nine games with the Lions last year, racking up six tackles on special teams. His previous NFL stops were in Tampa Bay, Carolina, Minnesota, and New England.
