Following his record-breaking performance against UConn, Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson has been named the Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Week and the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week.
↵Robinson rushed for 197 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries and passed for 186 yards and a touchdown while completing 19 of his 22 attempts. Those stats set the Michigan record for total offense and rushing yards by a quarterback, which is pretty good considering it was Robinson's first career start.
↵In addition to breaking Michigan records, Shoelace's great day was quite a bit deal on a conference level.
↵↵↵BIG TEN NOTES: MICH QB Denard Robinson becomes second player in Big Ten history to surpass 180 yards passing and rushing.

When I was at the game I knew Robinson was putting up some ridiculous numbers, but it wasn't until I got home later that day and looked at the boxscore that I realized just how amazing his day truly was.
