Sunday's NFL playoff schedule features the Patriots vs. Jets and the Seahawks vs. Bears. The Seahawks/Bears game will be interesting to watch because a Chicago win would make for an all NFC North NFC title game next week and a Seattle victory would put a team that was below .500 going into the playoffs one win away from the Super Bowl. The Patriots/Jets game is the one all eyes will be on, though, as the trash talk this week between the two teams has been quite interesting, to say the least.
↵For those who are interested in the players from local colleges involved in Sunday's games, let's start first with the Seahawks vs. Bears, which gets underway at 1:00 p.m. on FOX. In this game, Seattle has former Michigan State tight end Chris Baker. Chicago has former Michigan quarterback Todd Collins and former MSU tight end Kellen Davis.
↵In the Patriots vs. Jets game, which kicks off at 4:30 p.m. on CBS, there are three former Wolverines and Spartans on each team. New England has former Michigan quarterback Tom Brady, former Michigan State quarterback Brian Hoyer and former U-M punter Zoltan Mesko. New York has former U-M wide receiver Braylon Edwards, former U-M linebacker David Harris and former MSU safety Eric Smith.
