The Michigan Wolverines enter this year's Maui Invitational as one of four ranked teams, and they may have the most difficult path to the championship of any team in the field. Michigan was rated No. 17 in both the AP and Coaches poll last week, but they open against No. 10 Memphis:

In round two Michigan will face one of two teams they faced in last season's NCAA Tournament. No. 6 Duke and Tennessee play in the first round, and either will be Michigan's second opponent. Michigan thrashed Tennessee 75-45 in last year's NCAA Tournament before losing 73-71 Duke.
The fourth ranked team int he field is Kansas, who was No. 11 in last week's coaches poll. They are the favorite to reach the final of the tournament, but historical powers Georgetown and UCLA are also in the other half of the bracket. The field is rounded out by Chaminade, who is always a dangerous team capable of pulling an upset.
