The NFL has finally ruled on Detroit Lions tackle Ndamukong Suh for his stomping incident during Thursday's Thanksgiving tussle with the Green Bay Packers. Suh will be suspended for the Lions' next two games against the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings.
JayGlazer Jay Glazer Lions have been informed by league office that Ndamukong Suh has been suspended by Commissioner 2 games without pay.
Glazer later informed the public that Suh will serve only the suspension. He does not have to go through any sort of league-mandated anger management treatment, but he may be advised by the team to do so. Suh currently has 31 tackles and three sacks on the season for the Lions, but he was ejected from Thursday's game and his personal foul penalty allowed a Packer drive to stay alive. That drive later resulted in a touchdown, and the Packers went on to win the game 27-15.
Detroit is currently in a three way tie for the NFC wild card spot with the Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears.
