Evan Smotrycz hit a layup with five seconds left to help Michigan take a 31-30 advantage into the locker room against Wisconsin.
Tim Hardaway Jr. had 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting as the Wolverines lead the Badgers for a good chunk of the first half. Michigan struggled to keep the Badgers off the offensive glass however, as Wisconsin pulled down five offensive rebound to none for Michigan.
Jordan Morgan scored eight points, hitting all three of his shots plus a pair of free throws. In all, Michigan shot 13-of-19 from the floor in the first half.
Jon Leuer and Jordan Taylor currently lead the Badgers with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
