Day two of the 2011 Big Ten tournament has arrived. After three games being played in Indianapolis on Thursday, there are four on the menu today. By tonight the semifinals will be set, and some bubbles could be burst in the process.
The action today opens with No. 1 seed Ohio State playing Northwestern, the No. 8 seed. The Wildcats advanced yesterday after a win over Minnesota. The second game will be between Michigan and Illinois, the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds. The night session begins at 6:30 p.m. with No. 2 Purdue playing Michigan State. Finally, Wisconsin will take on Penn State to cap off the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament.
Here is a look at the Big Ten tournament bracket (going into the Friday games):
No. 1 Ohio State vs. No. 8 Northwestern (beat Minnesota, 75-65, in first round)
