Pistons Lead Raptors At Halftime

Tayshaun Prince has scored 14 points to lead three Detroit Pistons in double-figures to a halftime lead against the Toronto Raptors.

The Pistons led by as many as 20 points in the second quarter but the Raptors cut the lead to 63-52 at halftime, thanks to 10 points off the bench by Leandro Barbossa. Jose Calderon had 10 points to lead Toronto in scoring to go along with his five assists.

Richard Hamilton added 12 points and Greg Monroe had 11 points and six rebounds in the first half for the Pistons.

The Pistons are in a slump, having dropped their last three games and five of their past six. Detroit got drilled by Denver in their last outing 131-101 in which eight Nuggets players scored in double figures. A win would even the Pistons home record at least at 17-17.

If all else fails for the Raptors, maybe they can blind the Pistons into defeat with their green St. Patrick's Day jerseys.
