NCAA Bracket 2011 Update: Thursday's Sweet 16 Scores

The first day of the Sweet 16 is in the books, and now half of the Elite Eight's field is set. By the conclusion of Friday night, only eight teams will remain in the 2011 NCAA basketball tournament and the matchups for Saturday and Sunday will be decided.

Here is a look back at the scores from Thursday's four Sweet 16 games:

No. 3 UConn def. No. 2 San Diego State, 74-67

No. 2 Florida def. No. 3 BYU, 83-74 (OT)

No. 5 Arizona def. No. 1 Duke, 93-77

No. 8 Butler def. No. 4 Wisconsin, 61-54

Based on the results of these games, the Elite Eight's games for Saturday are as follows:

No. 2 Florida vs. No. 8 Butler (4:30 p.m., CBS)

No. 3 UConn vs. No. 5 Arizona (7:05 p.m., CBS)

The winners of these two games will advance to the Final Four next week in Houston. The Florida/Butler winner will take on the winner of the Southwest Region, and the UConn/Arizona winner will face the winner of the East Region.
