NCAA Tournament 2011 Scores: Butler, UConn Advance To Final Four

Half of the Final Four field is set, and there are some familiar faces that will be heading to Houston to play for a spot in the national championship game. Butler will be making its second consecutive trip to the Final Four after beating Florida in overtime on Saturday. UConn will be returning to the Final Four for the first time since 2009 (when the Huskies lost to Michigan State at Ford Field) following a win over Arizona.

Here is a look at the scores from the 2011 NCAA tournament's two games on Saturday:

No. 8 Butler def. No. 2 Florida, 74-71 (OT)

No. 3 UConn def. No. 5 Arizona, 65-63

Both of these games featured exciting finishes.

Florida had a chance to win its game in regulation and missed a long three at the buzzer. In overtime, the Gators had multiple chances to tie the game late, but like the end of regulation, they missed three-pointers. Butler won as a result and is shockingly back in the Final Four.

The end of the UConn game was very similar. Arizona had a chance to tie the game or take the lead late, but they missed a three-pointer with time running out and another one at the buzzer. UConn won its ninth straight game as a result and is back in the Final Four for the second time in three years.
