The 2011 NCAA men's basketball tournament is winding down and the Final Four teams are set. On one side of the bracket, UConn will take on Kentucky. On the other side, Butler will take on VCU, which is still hard to believe even a day later.
↵This whole NCAA tournament has been one surprise after another. For starters, there are not only no No. 1 seeds in the 2011 Final Four, but zero No. 2 seeds made it. UConn, a No. 3 seed, is the highest-seeded team left. Kentucky has the next-highest seed, and it is only slotted as the fourth team in its region. On the other side, you have No. 8 Butler vs. No. 11 VCU in a stunning matchup. Butler is back in the Final Four for the second straight year, and VCU has gone from playing in the First Four to playing in the Final Four.
↵Here is a look at the 2011 Final Four schedule:
↵No. 8 Butler vs. No. 11 VCU (6:09 p.m., CBS)
↵No. 3 UConn vs. No. 4 Kentucky (8:49 p.m., CBS)
↵The national championship game will take place a week from today in Houston between the winners of these two games.
