2011 NHL Draft Order: Detroit Red Wings Pick 24th

One day after basketball fans got to watch the 2011 NBA Draft, hockey fans get their turn. The 2011 NHL Draft, live from Minnesota, begins at 7 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Friday and will be televised by Versus and TSN. The first round takes place on Friday night and the rest of the draft will be held on Saturday (check out NHL Network for coverage of rounds two through seven).

By getting knocked out of the NHL playoffs in the second round, the Detroit Red Wings pick 24th in this year's draft. Below is a full order for the first round.
