The Detroit Tigers will get a good look at the defending world champion San Francisco Giants tonight when the two teams open a three-game set at Comerica Park.
The Tigers will send Brad Penny (5-6, 4.66 ERA) to the mound as he looks for his first win since June 5. He only gave up two runs his last time out, but got a no-decision against Arizona.
The Giants will counter with Madison Bumgarner (4-9, 3.84 ERA).

Alburquerque has been Detroit's most impressive bullpen threat this season, striking out 47 batters in 29 innings to go along with a 2.79 ERA.
