Michigan Vs. Iowa Score Update: Wolverines Trail 33-23 At Half

The Michigan Wolverines are off to a slow start at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, and they now trail the Iowa Hawkeyes 33-23 at halftime.

The Wolverines, vying for a third straight win, are led by Trey Burke who has notched 6 points on 2-3 shooting.

Both teams have struggled offensively, and no one has personified those struggles more than Michigan forward Evan Smotrycz, who is 0-5 from the field and 0-3 on three-pointers. Tim Hardaway Jr. is 1-6 and 0-5 on three-pointers.

Roy Devyn Marble has 8 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the Hawkeyes.

Michigan (14-3) entered the game with a 4-1 record in Big Ten play, tied for second in the conference the Illinois Fighting Illini and behind the 4-0 Ohio St. Buckeyes. Iowa (10-8) came in with a 2-3 mark in the Big Ten.
