In a showdown between teams battling for Big Ten supremacy, the No. 22 Michigan Wolverines (16-5) and No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes (18-3) are fittingly engaged in a close, back-and-forth game so far, with the Wolverines trailing 24-21 at halftime at Value City Arena in Columbus.
The Wolverines have slowed down Ohio State's big three like few other teams have been able so far. Jared Sullinger heads to the break with just xx points and xx rebounds, while Deshaun Thomas (xx points) and Williams Buford (xx points, xx turnovers) also have yet to find a groove offensively.
Yet Michigan still trails, as they have had trouble scoring on Ohio State and have yet to even make a trip to the free throw line after 20 minutes.
Michigan and Ohio State share the conference lead with the Michigan State Spartans, with all three teams sporting 6-2 records.
