Facing a key NFC matchup, the Detroit Lions look to be faced with an uphill battle on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, if the experts around the web are to be believed.
At ESPN, the bevy of collected experts are overwhelmingly calling for a Eagles victory over the Lions, as only one expert, long-time ESPN commentator Tom Jackson, is going with the Lions to upset the Eagles in Philadelphia. Thus far in 2012, the Eagles are undefeated at home, compiling a 2-0 record at Lincoln Financial Field. For the season, Jackson is 43-34 picking games.
Over at Yahoo! Sports, two of the three assembled experts are also favoring the Eagles. Expert Jason Cole, however, is going with the Lions to pull the upset. Cole is ranked second among the three pickers with a 47-30 record picking straight up on the season. The collection of Yahoo! users is also going the Eagles' way.
