The Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans will continue their rivalry this weekend in Ann Arbor, with kick off set at 3:30 p.m. ET. That time was just announced by the conference, who also announced the week's television schedule.
The Wolverines and Spartans are not quite the marquee game in the mid-afternoon time slot, at least according to the television executives. ABC has opted to televise Saturday's game between the Northwestern Wildcats and Nebraska Cornhuskers, bumping Michigan and Michigan State to the Big Ten Network.
The Spartans are coming off an overtime loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes and have dropped to 4-3 on the season. Michigan, meanwhile, has demolished its first two Big Ten opponents and now finds itself ranked No. 23 in the AP Poll. In last year's matchup, Michigan State scored three second half touchdowns en route to a 28-14 victory.
Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson has yet to beat the Spartans in his career, and the Wolverines haven't defeated Michigan State since 2007.
