The Detroit Lions managed a comeback win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, and it was the eighth time Matthew Stafford has led such a comeback in the fourth quarter for his career. The Lions are 3-4 on the season, though, which is far worse than they hoped to be at this point in the season.
Their record has them pretty low on the Week 9 power rankings, although they're rising a bit thanks to that win over the Seahawks, who have pulled decent rankings in the past weeks. SB Nation released their rankings from Ryan Van Bibber on Tuesday, and they have the Lions at No. 19, up five spots from last week.
19. Detroit Lions (LW: 24, 3-4): Matthew Stafford has three game-winning drives this season. He had four in 2011. How many more times will he have to do it to keep the Lions in the wildcard chase?
ESPN also moved the Lions up, and they have them at No. 17, up two spots from last week. CBS Sports has them at No. 19, up one spot from a week ago. They also suggested that the drive that sealed the win also may have saved Detroit's season. FOX Sports has them the highest, up a full six spots at No. 12.
