SB Nation on Tuesday released its latest BlogPoll for Week 7 of the NCAA football season. There's plenty to note about the top end of the list and the way things are trending, but first: the regional teams. Both the Michigan State Spartans and Michigan Wolverines appeared on the BlogPoll in recent weeks, but neither made the top 25 this time around.
Michigan is 3-2 with a win against Purdue in its last outing, but losses to both of its ranked competition in Notre Dame and Alabama. Michigan State is 4-2, with losses to ranked competition in Ohio State and Notre Dame, but with a win over then-ranked Boise State. They managed a 31-27 victory over Indiana last Saturday.
Michigan in particular is noteworthy given that they're still ranked by the Associated Press, as No. 25 in the nation. Both teams received votes in the BlogPoll, which has Alabama as first place, but slowly losing those votes as a large group of teams got in on the action in Oregon, South Carolina, West Virginia, Florida, Kansas St. and even Notre Dame.
Be sure to check out the full poll here, and we've got it embedded below.
