The Detroit Pistons were unable to keep their winning ways up on Friday, losing to the Orlando Magic just two days after they notched their first win of the season. The 110-106 loss to Orlando dropped Detroit to 1-9 on the season.
Even with the loss though, there were plenty of positives for the Pistons.
Greg Monroe led Detroit scorers with 23 points, and was one of five Pistons' starters (and six players overall) who finished the game in double-figures. Point guard Brandon Knight added 10 points and 12 assists, marking his second game of the 2012-13 season with double-digit assists. Rookie Andre Drummond added 10 points off the bench as well.
With the loss, Detroit now falls 5.5 games back of first place Milwaukee in the Central Division, which is now 5-2 overall. Trailing the Bucks is second place Chicago at 5-3 overall, with Indiana (4-6) and Cleveland (2-6) rounding out the division.
Detroit next plays Sunday, when they'll host Boston at the Palace at Auburn Hills. The game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
