Brad Keselowski to appear in America's Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit

Michigan born NASCAR drive, Brad Keselowski, will appear in America's Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit.

US PRESSWIRE

Brad Keselowski is going to appear in Thursday's America's Thanksgiving Parade in downtown Detroit, according to Bob Pockrass on Twitter. Keselowski is a Michigan born NASCAR driver, who most recently won the Sprint Cup's Chase for the Championship on Sunday.

The Detroit News had a quote from Keselowski, in which he said it would be an honor to be part of the parade, as he and his family used to get up in the morning to watch it when he was growing up in Michigan. Keselowski was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

He's the first Michigan-born drive to win the Cup Series crown, and it's the first Penske Racing drive to win the title, as well. Roger Penske, the owner of the team, resides in Birmingham, Michigan.

The parade is an 86-year tradition produced by The Parade Company, and gets started on Woodward Avenue and Mack at 9:05 a.m eastern time.
