Urban Meyer has been the head coach at Ohio State for less than a year, but he already seems to understand the importance of the Buckeyes' rivalry with Michigan. Meyer was fired up when discussing the rivalry Friday:
Meyer nearly overcome with emotion speaking about seniors, then says, "Let's beat the sh** out of Michigan," leaves the stage

Meyer was speaking at Earl Bruce's Beat Michigan Tailgate in Columbus, Ohio, Friday morning. He was praising the Buckeye seniors who could have left the program after it was hit by the NCAA for violations committed under former head coach Jim Tressel.
Meyer certainly isn't the first fan to become overwhelmed when discussing the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry. With a history dating back to 1897 and 108 all-time meetings, The Game produces high emotions in fans of both schools. Ohio State has dominated recently, but the Buckeyes losing to Michigan for just the second time in 11 years last season likely resonates with Meyer.
Michigan and Ohio State kickoff from Ohio Stadium in Columbus Saturday at noon ET. The game will be televised by ABC.
