Michigan Wolverines point guard Trey Burke is currently ranked 30th on CBS Sports' 2013 NBA Draft Big Board. CBS chose to rank seniors, internationals and underclassmen that it felt had a "realistic" chance of declaring for the NBA draft, so they think the sophomore point guard could possibly leave Ann Arbor after this season.
The write-up about Burke was brief, only stating:
Burke isn't physically imposing, but he can shoot and also excels in a ball-screen offense.
Burke was the only Michigan player to crack the Top 60 NBA draft board. The point guard had a one-game suspension for a "violation of team standards," and was forced to sit out the Wolverines' exhibition opener. Burke played well in his return to action against Saginaw Valley State, scoring 18 points and dishing out six assists.
Expectations are high for Burke this season, as he was named a Preseason All American by The Associated Press. Michigan also has lofty goals, as it was ranked No. 5 in the preseason Top 25 poll.
