In search of their first bowl victory since the 2009 campaign, the Central Michigan Chippewas will take the field on Wednesday evening against Western Kentucky in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.
Winners of three consecutive games to close out their regular season schedule, the Chippewas will bring a balanced offensive attack led by the consistent arm of senior quarterback Ryan Radcliff. The 6'3, 215-pound Ohio native racked up 2,905 yards passing with 20 touchdowns during the regular season, and looks poised to close out his collegiate career on a high note after originally being selected by the Colorado Rockies in the 2008 MLB Entry Draft.
Head coach Dan Enos' Chippewas will enter Wednesday's contest as six-point underdogs, despite averaging more points than Western Kentucky per game during the regular season. Along with posting a 5-7 mark against the spread, Central Michigan's inconsistent defense allowed at least 40 points to Mid-American Conference opponents on four occasions this year. One trend that may be working in Central Michigan's favor however, is that four of the last five underdogs in the Pizza Bowl have come out on top against the spread.
Moneyline: Central Michigan +190
Over/Under: 57 points
