Goalkeeper Hope Solo had a shutout as the US Women's National Team defeated China, 2-0, on Saturday.
Carli Lloyd and Sydney Leroux provided the scoring for Team USA, while Solo made four saves and helped overcome four corner kick attempts by China. Lloyd's goal was her 42nd in international play.
Alex Morgan joined the 20-20 club when she assisted on Leroux's goal in the 84th minute. The assist was Morgan's 20th of the season to go along with her 28 goals.
According to Fletcher Sharpe of Mlive.com, Morgan is having only the second 20-20 season in U.S. women's national team history. Mia Hamm recorded the other in 1998 when she had 21 goals and 21 assists.
The match was also the 100th international competition for Amy Rodriguez.
With the win, the US women improved to 12-0-0 in indoor play. There were 17,371 fans in attendance, which set a Michigan record for a US Women's National Team game.
