The Boston Celtics are shorthanded on Wednesday night and it is showing at home. The Celtics lead the Detroit Pistons 49-47 at the half, and the Pistons are playing well against one of the hotter teams in the NBA. Rodney Stuckey has scored 15 points for the Pistons, who also trailed by a pair after one period.
Rajon Rando has been incredible for Boston so far with 19 points, while Chris Wilcox has ten to help pace the Celtics. It was Wilcox who scored just before halftime to give Boston the two point lead it currently holds. Rookie JaJuan Johnson and former Big Ten Player of the Year has scored six points for Boston, as he is seeing extended minutes.
Tayshaun Prince also has eight points for the Pistons.
