The Daytona 500 Qualifying took place on Sunday afternoon. The time trials were to determine the pole and outside pole positions for next week's kickoff to the 2012 Sprint Cup season, as well as allowing four drivers to earn berths in the race.
The end results were very close, but Carl Edwards bested Roush Fenway Racing teammate Greg Biffle by just one-tenth of a second to determine the front row for next Sunday's race at Daytona International Speedway.
Bred Keselowski came in 19th in the qualifying on Sunday, but please note that the qualifying results do not determine the final starting lineup in the Daytona 500. This week will still see the Duels that will set the final grid prior to Sunday.
