Celtics Vs. Pistons: Detroit Rolls 96-81 For Third Straight Win

The Detroit Pistons have now won three in a row after beating the Bostons Celtics 96-81 on Sunday night. The Pistons had a dominant second quarter where they outscored Boston 29-16 and never looked back while playing Boston dead even for the entire second half. Greg Monroe led a balanced attack for Detroit with 17 points.

Rodney Stuckey was part of that balance with 16 points, while Tayshaun Prince had 13 points and Brandon Knight had 12. The Pistons were never really in doubt int he second half as they kept Boston's big guns in check for the second week in a row. Paul Pierce had 18 points for Boston, but Rajon Rondo only have five points. Kevin Garnett also missed the game for Boston.

Detroit kept itself in control with 16 offensive rebounds.
