Big Ten Tournament 2012: Bracket And Schedule Preview For Semifinals

With the quarterfinals in the books, the focus is now on the semifinals at the 2012 Big Ten tournament. Two games are set to take place on Saturday and will determine which two teams will play in the championship game on Sunday.

The first matchup of the day features Michigan State and Wisconsin. The Spartans advanced to the semifinals by blowing out Iowa on Friday by a score of 92-75. The Badgers advanced thanks to a 79-71 win over Indiana and will hope to get some revenge on Michigan State after being swept by the Spartans in the regular season.

The second semifinal is Michigan vs. Ohio State, just like one of the semifinals last year. This year, Ohio State enters the game as the No. 3 seed in the conference and fresh off of an 88-71 win over Purdue. Michigan is the No. 2 seed and survived an upset scare by beating Minnesota 73-69 in overtime.
