The 2012 NCAA tournament bracket is out. The matchups are set for the First Four and second round, which will take place over the course of the next week as teams work toward getting to the Sweet 16 and ultimately their goal of winning a national championship.
There is a lot of information to take in from the bracket since it was just released, and SB Nation has put together a printable 2012 NCAA bracket so you see all of the matchups and track all of the madness that is sure to unfold in the coming weeks.
For the state of Michigan, there are three teams in the NCAA tournament bracket: Michigan State, Michigan and Kansas. The Spartans are the West Region's No. 1 seed and will play LIU Brooklyn on Friday. That same day, Michigan, the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region, will play Ohio (the Bobcats, not Ohio State). The Detroit Titans will also be in action on Friday and are in the Midwest Region as well. They are set to play the second-seeded Kansas Jayhawks after picking up a No. 15 seed.
