Big Ten Tournament 2012: One Expert Picks Ohio State Over Michigan State

Michigan and Michigan State both bring high hopes for greater glory into the Big Ten tournament, which starts Thursday. In addition to winning the conference tournament, the Spartans also have to make the case for a 1-seed in the NCAA tournament. Andy Glockner at SI.com sees trouble for Michigan State.

Glocker predicts the Ohio State Buckeyes to win the Big Ten tournament. His reasoning?

The Buckeyes' mini-slump may be over, and Michigan State is a bit weakened by injury and the images of last weekend's cave-in at Breslin.

The Spartans get started on Friday, when they play the winner of Thursday's opener between Iowa and Illinois. If they win that game, Michigan State will have a shot at either Wisconsin or the winner of Thursday's game between Indiana and Penn State.
