Big Ten Tournament 2012: Bracket And Schedule Preview For Day 2

The Big Ten tournament's opening day is over and day two begins on Friday. The games begin at noon and extend through 9 p.m. ET, and two of them will be played on national television on ESPN (the other two are on Big Ten Network).

There are teams still alive in the Big Ten tournament that have their sights set on a spot in the NCAA tournament, but before they get excited for the Big Dance, they have to make it through two more rounds of tough competition with their conference rivals.

All games take place at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN.

Here is the 2012 Big Ten tournament bracket, and below is the schedule for day two of the action.

Friday, March 9

Game 5: No. 1 Michigan State vs. No. 8 Iowa (Noon, ESPN)

Game 6: No. 4 Wisconsin vs. No. 5 Indiana (2:30 p.m. ESPN)

Game 7: No. 2 Michigan vs. No. 10 Minnesota (6:30 p.m., BTN)

Game 8: No. 3 Ohio State vs. No. 6 Purdue (9 p.m., BTN)

The winner of the Michigan State-Iowa game will face the winner of the Wisconsin-Indiana game for one semifinal matchup, while the winner of the Michigan-Minnesota game will play the winner of the Ohio State-Purdue game in the other. The winners of those two games will play in the Big Ten championship game on Sunday.
