Wimbledon 2012 TV Schedule: Live Coverage Of The Opening Round

The 126th Wimbledon Championships will finally begin on Monday morning in London, as dozens of the world's top players will attempt to tame a lightning-fast grass surface that has become synonymous with the sport's coveted 3rd major tournament.

Detroit native Michael Russell is scheduled to begin his quest for a Grand Slam right away on Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. ET on Court 6 against Spain's Adrian Menendez-MacEiras. If he is indeed successful out of the gate, Russell would move on to face the winner of Gilles Muller-Julien Benneteau in round two later in the week.

Live television coverage will begin Monday right when Russell starts up at 6:30 a.m. ET on ESPN2, and will run until 5:00 p.m. ET. In addition to being shown on television, ESPN's live broadcast will also be streamed online through Watch ESPN, while a separate live stream of Monday's action that begins at 3:00 a.m. will also be available at Wimbledon.com.

You can view the full men's seedings and bracket at the official Wimbledon website.
