Wimbledon 2012: Milos Raonic Upset By Sam Querrey

The story at the 2012 Wimbledon Championship has been the surprising amount of upsets that have occurred thus far. On Friday afternoon, that trend continued when American Sam Querrey upset No. 21-seeded Milos Raonic of Canada in four impressive sets, 6-7 (3-7), 7-6 (9-7), 7-6 (10-8), 6-4.

While it may not be at the level of Lukas Rosol's upset of Rafael Nadal on Thursday, Querrey's overtaking of Raonic is still an impressive accomplishment.

With three of the sets being forced to tiebreakers, Querry displayed a level of commitment and mental determination to advance to the next round of the 2012 Wimbledon Championship. He has never made it past the fourth round of any Grand Slam event. He will hope to do so this year.

The entire Friday docket can be found at Wimbledon's official site.
