Thursday brings us the opening round of the 2012 British Open, and there are multiple ways for fans to watch the Open Tournament online. WatchESPN is the best place online to catch Tiger Woods, former Michigan Wolverine Justin Hicks and the rest of the field. Coverage begins Thursday morning at 3:30 a.m. ET, with some streams requiring a cable subscription but many available to all. There is a live stream of holes 9, 10 and 11 available at official site TheOpen.com, but access is limited to fans in the UK.
The computer isn't the only place to watch the British Open online. For the first time ever, live streaming coverage of the tournament will be available via mobile device. Live scoring, video highlights, a course guide, a live stream of holes 9, 10 and 11 and more is all available via apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
Stick with this StoryStream for news, leaderboard updates and more from the 2012 British Open. For all things golf, check out SB Nation's golf hub.
