After a thrilling opening week, the round of 16 will officially get underway at the 2012 Wimbledon Championships on a jam-packed Monday morning in London, England.
Third-seeded Roger Federer will take on Belgian upstart Xavier Malisse at 8:00 am ET on Centre Court, while favorite Novak Djokovic will also his hands full with Viktor Troicki later in the afternoon. Also poised for a run through his bracket is No. 4 seed and local favorite Andy Murray, who will take on Croatia's Marin Cilic on Court No. 1 in the afternoon for a chance to reach the final eight.
On the women's side, No. 1 seed Maria Sharapova will meet Germany's Sabine Lisicki to get things started on Court No. 1 at 8:00 a.m., while Serena Williams will face Yaroslava Shvedova an hour and a half earlier on Court No. 2. Unranked contender Kim Clijsters, who announced that this would be her final trip to Wimbledon before the tournament, will try to advance into the round of eight against Germany's Angelique Kerber on Court No. 3 in the mid-morning.
Live television coverage of Monday's action can be seen on ESPN, and will start at 7:00 a.m. and run all the way until 5:00 p.m. In addition to Watch ESPN's coverage of multiple courts available online, Wimbledon.com will have a live stream that features looped content between matches.
