2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony: TV Coverage, Streaming, Live Updates And More

The official beginning for the 2012 London Olympics will come on Friday evening as the Opening Ceremonies kick off the festivities. Unfortunately, people in America won't be seeing the ceremonies as they happen with NBC set to air them only on a tape delay.

They will officially start at 4 p.m. ET, but the NBC tape delay will mean they won't start to be aired until 7:30 p.m. on television.

Though the Opening Ceremonies aren't among them, most events in the London Olympics will be streamed live on NBCOlympics.com with some restrictions. According to the site, you can only stream them all "with a cable, satellite or telco TV subscription that includes MSNBC and CNBC."
